Noida is getting better with every passing day
Noida is a city where dreams certainly come true. People flock towards this city of the future in a bid to realize their goals and aspirations. The undisputed IT and employment hub of the all important national capital region, Noida is a city destined for glory and so are its esteemed residents. Noida is not perfect by any means, but it is certainly getting way better with each and every passing day. A major chunk of the issues which were holding Noida back have been ironed out, while the rest are being taken care off at a fierce pace.
For instance, commencing September, Noida Authority is all set to start construction of a 2KM long, state of the art aerial pedestrian skywalk in the immensely crucial sector 18 of the city. This highly anticipated project which was proposed a few months back has been put on fast track and rightly so. The skywalk is expected to cost the authorities a whopping 65 crores and the consultant for the same is expected to be finalized within this week. Thus pedestrian safety will get the much needed boost as a result while traffic jams will become a thing of the past. The skywalk will connect sector 18 markets, TGIP mall, and multi level parking amongst other key locales. Thus the city will become a whole lot safer, thanks to the vibrant Noida Authority.
The GNIDA, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, has kicked things of in fifth gear. In an encroachment drive conducted by it in the city on Monday, GNIDA has freed a whopping 125 acres of land which was illegally occupied in a plethora of prime localities in the city. The estimated value of the land is slated to be a staggering 150 crores. A lot of land has been freed earlier from encroachers in drives conducted earlier. Now this vast piece of land can be in turn utilized for further development and growth of the city. Earlier this land was lying idle and being illegally used by encroachers.
Constant traffic congestion at the sector 35 and Noida city center crossroads has rightly given many sleepless nights to a torrent of hapless commuters. But the much needed respite is in store for these commuters as the much anticipated underpass is nearing completion and is expected to be opened for public use from the month of June itself. Only a few final touches are pending as far as the work is concerned, post which a detailed inspection of the underpass will be undertaken. A date for the launch of the underpass has not been finalized but it is expected to be soon.
The underpass has been built at a humungous cost of 50 crores and will bring respite to over 1.5 Lakh vehicles which utilize the underpass on a daily basis. Therefore this is where the beauty of Noida lies. It is a city which constantly keeps improving and reinventing itself. So go ahead and make Noida your home in a blink of an eye.
