Noida set to get a 7000 crore infrastructural boost
The state of Uttar Pradesh is on an unstoppable roll as of late. But 11th April 2015 can possibly be the day that changes the face of UP and Noida forever. Akhilesh Yadav, the esteemed and honourary CM of UP is all set to unveil a plethora of infrastructural projects worth a whopping 7000 crores. These projects will bloom in the fiercely growing regions of Noida, Yamuna Expressway and Greater Noida.
Foundation stones will be laid and flag will be raised to mark the kick off of several state of the art infrastructural projects which will undisputedly usher the state of UP into the new era of growth and development. The ceremony is slated to be held in Lucknow and will be telecasted live in the all important Gautam Buddh University amidst the presence of several high profile and key government officials.
The much talked about impetus package includes a mighty 5000 crore worth of stimulus to the Noida juggernaut. The city of the future, Greater Noida will benefit from a 1500 crore worth of boost. While the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is all set to lap up world class infrastructural projects worth 900 crores. As a result, the landscape of UP will never be the same again.
Some of the game changing projects which will receive a green signal on 11th April include but are not limited to – Noida-Greater Noida’s 28 KM long metro rail route, 8 sub stations, a multi level parking facility which can accommodate a humungous 8000 vehicles at any given point of time, a never before heard of super specialty pediatric medical facility and several post graduate institutes.
A much needed upgrade and facelift of the road and traffic facilities are also on the cards. The highly anticipated upgrade is slated to include bridges, elevated roads, flyovers, intelligent traffic management system, elevated pedestrian pathways and underpasses, in an attempt to decongest the roads.
Several other key projects which are expected to receive government’s nod include 3000 plus multi storey residential units, the ganga jal project, three sewage plants, more fire and police stations, power sub stations, establishment of IT hubs amongst others. CM is expected to announce these torrent of projects on the auspicious occasion of the political party’s 3rd anniversary of being in-power in the state of UP.
Noida has already established its dominance in the Delhi-NCR region as the next big education, medical, tourism and corporate hubs. But the pending slew of problems cannot be overlooked anymore. Therefore if these 7000 crore worth of projects are executed in a timely and proper fashion then Noida, Yamuna Expressway and Greater Noida region will be able to give its counterparts in NCR a run for their money. With the stipulated infrastructural boost in the region, the struggling real estate arena will get some much needed boost as well. Thus all eyes are glued on the developments, as and when they happen, for the sake of the city which millions love and adore, Noida.
