Even as surveys have revealed that the new housing launches have dipped considerably, Haryana has provided a surprise to the home buyers last month. Serving the noble cause for states affordable housing program, several reputed developers like Adani Group, Tulip Infratech and Signature Global will develop around 60,000 units in the state.
Apartments will be developed in the size range of 400 sq ft to 600 sq ft. These apartments are up for sale now and are located in established communities around Haryana. The project prices are Rs 17 Lakh and Rs 24 Lakh each for 1BHK and 2BHK apartments respectively. The prices are close to the market value and apartments are offered on super area basis.
No external development (EDC) or internal development (IDC) has to be paid for the projects. The project falls under Affordable housing scheme 2013, launched by Haryana Government. Majority of the projects is based on Sector 58 to 115 which fall under Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex 2031 and some under Sohna Development Plan.
Adani Realty has already launched 838 units and is further planning to launch 300 more units in the same project. These affordable homes are based in Sector 88A-89A. Signature Global will anchor its fifth affordable housing project in Sector 93, Gurgaon, with around 729 units of 1BHK and 2BHK variants. The prices are around Rs 13.80 Lakh to Rs 22.17 Lakh.
Several urban planners have defined the ambitious Haryana Affordable Housing policy by means to attract middle class families earning Rs 40,000 as salary. The target groups are not necessarily meant to be economically backward in the society. These people will be provided access to 90 percent loans with a tenure span of 20 years with six installments.
