In a one of its kind ceremony held in Lucknow, Akhilesh Yadav laid the foundation for Bennett University which is slated to adorn the Greater Noida region. Land for this University was allotted just four months back. With this the very well renowned BCCL group has successfully ventured into the educational sector of our nation. With the launch of this research driven, world class Bennett University, BCCL group aims to impart cutting edge education in students and shape their lives for the better. The university will extend graduation, undergraduation and doctoral degrees to its students.
Akhilesh Yadav hailed the work done by the concerned authorities in such a short span of time. He also pointed out that in order to extend high quality education to one and all; a strategic alliance between private and public institutes is a must.
The university is rightly being expected to change the landscape of India’s education industry forever. Bennett University will be built on a sprawling 68 acres of land in the heart of Greater Noida. The University will be able to accommodate a staggering 15000 students when operational at full capacity. During the initial phases, Bennett University will offer degrees in media, management and engineering. The second phase of expansion will witness courses being offered in the applied sciences, liberal arts, design and law domains. The students of the university will benefit tremendously from a strategic combination of domestic and foreign faculty members. University will sport and possess deans from abroad along with massive 15 to 20% foreign faculty members.
Akhilesh Yadav seemed gung ho about the establishment of this university at Greater Noida. The university has been envisioned as a never before seen education hub for the entire state of UP and especially the fast emerging region of Noida. The university will be a one stop destination for all the educational needs of the people of UP. Students from all across the country are expected to flock towards the university as well. Expected to become operational from July 2016 onwards, Bennett University will change the face of UP as we know it.
